Erin McArthur is a School Success Specialist in Literacy at the School Success Center. Before coming to the center in 2020, she earned her M.Ed. in Literacy at the University of Delaware and spent seven years in the classroom teaching both second and third grade. She served as an ELA Curriculum Lead for Bookworms (K-5) Reading and Writing, and both supported and demonstrated effective implementation of the program to provide meaningful, evidence-based literacy instruction to young learners.  At the SSC, Erin supports schools in Delaware and in several states across the country in their implementation of high-quality literacy instruction that is grounded in the Science of Reading through both coaching and professional development. She has also worked alongside Sharon Walpole and the most recent writing team as a curriculum writer for Bookworms First Edition. Erin is honored to work alongside fellow professionals in the field to foster success in schools in the area of literacy.
