Sarah has worked in education for 21 years and is a Senior School Improvement Specialist for the School Success Center (SSC). She was an elementary teacher for 5 years and a K-5 reading specialist for 12 years before joining the SSC. She has worked in public schools in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, bringing her experience from their diverse school systems and populations.  Most recently, Sarah has enjoyed coaching teachers in various districts across several states in their implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM). She believes in supporting all stakeholders in understanding and implementing the evidence-based practices that comprise the science of reading and writing. Sarah is excited to continue providing professional development and coaching in literacy for the SSC.
