Kelly Donovan is a dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience in the field. As a Senior School Improvement Specialist at the University of Delaware’s School Success Center (SSC), she coaches K-12 teachers across several states.

Kelly specializes in helping educators implement evidence-based instruction that aligns with the science of reading and writing. Her work focuses on the use of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) to improve student outcomes.

Before joining the SSC, Kelly spent 14 years as an elementary teacher and three years as a middle school ELA teacher in Delaware public schools. She has a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education and also served as an adjunct instructor at Wilmington University for five years.
