Jonathan believes in creating access for all learners in math classrooms. Before joining SSC, he worked in the Colonial School District in Plymouth Meeting, PA and Mastery Charter Schools in Philadelphia, PA, for eight years. During those years, he served as a math teacher in grades 4-7 in inclusive classrooms. In addition, he served as an instructional coach for two years at Independence Charter School and one year as a mathematics specialist at Carnegie Learning. Jonathan joined PDCE in July 2019. His main goal is to foster a collaborative relationship with teachers to promote student ownership of mathematics content in all classrooms.
