Kim Wheedleton has served public school students in grades K-8 for over 9 years as a classroom teacher, substitute, and long-term substitute, with extensive experience in grades 1-3. Since 2016, she has been serving teachers and leaders through her work at the University of Delaware’s School Success Center (formerly PDCE).

Kim currently supports educators in strengthening their pedagogical and content knowledge and leadership skills, to most effectively meet the diverse literacy and learning needs of their students. Her focus is on tapping into and supporting the potential of each educator she serves to learn, to grow, and to succeed. She believes students reach their fullest educational and developmental potential when everyone–teachers, families, students, specialists, instructional coaches, and administrators–work together at all levels toward common goals.
