Bio
Maria is a Math Specialist/Instructional Specialist, providing structured MTSS support, developing curriculum-based training modules, and coaching teachers in effective mathematics instruction. She designs and facilitates professional learning aligned to Eureka and Illustrative Mathematics, develops observation and tracking tools to strengthen instructional quality, and creates math coursework for diverse learners. Maria also tutors and prepares candidates for the Praxis Elementary and Special Education exams through targeted instruction and individualized coaching. As an experienced instructional leader, former K–5 Math Department Co-Chair, and mentor to pre-service and in-service educators, Maria is committed to data-driven decision-making and student-centered mathematics achievement.
