Sarah Mandalas serves as a Senior School Improvement Specialist in literacy at the School Success Center (SSC), bringing over 23 years of dedicated experience in education. Her extensive background includes five years as an elementary educator and 12 years as a K-5 reading specialist across public school systems in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Sarah’s recent work focuses on the intersection of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) and classroom practice. She partners with school systems nationwide to bridge the gap between theory and implementation, focusing on evidence-based literacy practices. A skilled facilitator and coach, she is committed to supporting teachers and leaders in mastering the sciences of reading, writing and language development to ensure success for every student.
