Bio
Nicole Draper is a Limited-Term Researcher at the PDCE. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Education and Special Education and her Master’s degree in Education from Neumann University, along with a K-12 Endorsement in Instructional Technology. Nicole has spent the last several years as a classroom teacher in the Delaware Public School System. Her professional experience includes teaching in both elementary and middle school. Nicole has also been an adjunct professor at Harcum College in the Education Department, teaching Early Childhood Education courses and serving as an ECE Coach and advisor for students in the program. Nicole has been teaching Bookworms since 2016 and has been a highly effective teacher in providing students meaningful, evidence-based literacy instruction and interventions. As a literacy specialist at the PDCE, Nicole looks forward to writing curriculum and providing support for teachers as they implement the Bookworms curriculum.
